• Repair bigger household electrical items like electric mower, electric strimmer, electric hedge cutter, vacuum cleaner (must be clean and emptied), electric heater, table top hotplate, fan, DVD player, stereo player, steam mop, TV, etc.

• Replace damaged cables

• PA test your item if you repaired it yourself (peace of mind)

• Battery operated or remote-controlled toy.

IT Equipment

• Help you backup your data to external hard drive (please bring) or to the Cloud

• Computer, tablet, printer, scanner, laptop

• Gaming controllers

• Fix hardware problems / failures

• Fix software problems or install updates

Tool Sharpening

Household items – kitchen knives, scissors, cleavers, chisel, saw, garden items – a pair of shears, secateurs, lawn mower blades, loppers, hoe, etc but not hedge cutter blades.
Please note that you can bring multiple items but we can only repair one item at a time.

We don’t provide repairs but we know a man who can!

We can advise you of local businesses who can take on what we can’t do at the Repair Café.

We reserve the right to refuse to repair an item if it does not meet our guidelines.
